WHY CHOOSE ARRØ
NICOTINE LOZENGES?

Incredible Flavor

At ARRØ, we’re all about flavor, so we’ve formulated our 2 mg nicotine lozenges to taste more like candy than other nicotine lozenges you’ll find on the market.

Available in yummy options like Magic Mint and Strawberry Ice, our nicotine lozenges don’t just satisfy nicotine cravings — they taste like sweet treats full of bold flavor. And despite their sweet taste, they’re 100% sugar-free.

Most nicotine lozenges taste like breath mints. ARRØ lozenges offer something different, delivering sugar-free sweetness with a minimal dose of nicotine that allows the flavor to take center stage.

Discreet, Convenient Size

ARRØ 2 mg nicotine lozenges make it easy to get your nicotine fix anytime, anywhere. The small shape allows you to satisfy cravings discreetly no matter where you are.

Our slow-dissolving nicotine lozenges give you a steady flow of nicotine over a prolonged period. Each one takes about 30 minutes to dissolve – kind of like smoking 3 to 4 cigarettes.

Even if you’re not ready to quit, these lozenges are perfect for those moments when you need a nicotine fix. Whether you're stuck at the airport for hours, on a long flight, in a never-ending work meeting, or at a concert, these lozenges have you covered.

Affordable Price

Compared to other NRTs, our nicotine lozenges are one of the most affordable quit smoking aids on the market. Compare them to the price of a pack of cigarettes or a disposable nicotine vape and the cost savings alone may inspire you to want to quit nicotine for good.

We’re one of the few brands out there selling a product that we don’t want you to keep buying. Our goal is to be a crutch — a soft landing — helping you reach the point where you’re 100% nicotine-free.

Food-Safe Ingredients

Simple, food-safe ingredients make our 2 mg nicotine lozenges a tasty and effective smoking cessation aid. Our lozenges are sugar-free with nicotine salt and commonly used ingredients like water, sodium chloride (salt), and sugar substitutes. This combination of ingredients plus our unique formulation makes our lozenges slow-dissolving, discreet and easy to use, and better tasting than most traditional mint-flavored NRTs.

When quitting smoking, many people turn to sugary candies as a way to satisfy the oral fixation that develops alongside nicotine addiction. Our lozenges offer a healthier alternative and allow you to enjoy a bit of nicotine without the tar and other toxic chemicals that fill your cigarettes.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

How Do You Use Nicotine Lozenges?

While some people prefer to suck on nicotine lozenges, the proper way to use them is to nestle one between your cheek and gum. As it dissolves, it produces a mild tingling sensation — that’s the nicotine itself dissolving and absorbing into your mouth. While it’s dissolving, you can switch the lozenge to the other side of your mouth or switch it back and forth as it decreases in size.

You can pop a nicotine lozenge in your mouth any time a nicotine craving strikes, but most experts recommend not going over twenty 2 mg lozenges in a 24-hour period.. No matter how tasty they may be, don’t chew them like candy. They are meant to dissolve slowly, not to be chewed and swallowed like a regular candy or mint.

2 mg Nicotine Lozenges vs. Cigarettes: What's the Difference?

One 2 mg nicotine lozenge gives you roughly the same amount of nicotine as 1 to 2 cigarettes. So if you’re using 20 of them in one day, that’s the nicotine equivalent of 40 cigarettes!

Overusing these lozenges can actually lead to getting more nicotine in your system than you would from cigarettes or vapes, increasing your dependence. It will be easier to reach your quit goal and live a nicotine-free life if you take as few lozenges as possible per day.

While some NRT products come in 4 mg strength, 2 mg strength is the ideal dosage for most smokers. 4 mg lozenges are the equivalent of about 3 to 4 cigarettes, so most people find that the 2 mg dosage is more than sufficient to reduce pesky cravings and resist the urge to vape or light a cigarette.

At ARRØ, we want you to use fewer and fewer lozenges every day. No matter how many you start out taking on day one, try to take less the following day and less the day after that. Before you know it, you might not need them at all.

Do Nicotine Lozenges Actually Work?

Nicotine lozenges can effectively help you quit smoking. They provide a slow release of nicotine into the body to reduce cravings and fight the urge to light up a cigarette or hit a nicotine vape.

The FDA has approved several NRTs, including 2 mg lozenges, based on extensive clinical trials. The research says lozenges improve quit rates by 50% to 70%.

But even with lozenges, some ex-smokers still crave the throat hit of cigarettes or vapes. If you need the physical sensation of smoking, try pairing the lozenges with ARRØ’s nicotine-free vapes for a crave-beating combo.

Are Nicotine Lozenges Safe?

Nicotine lozenges are safe to use, but there is no such thing as a 100% safe nicotine product. Nicotine is a highly addictive, toxic chemical that can have many negative impacts on the brain and body. Some of the most common side effects of nicotine use include headaches, dizziness, increased heartbeat, and increased blood pressure.

However, if you’re already accustomed to ingesting nicotine with cigarettes or vapes, lozenges are more likely to result in side effects specific to the throat and mouth, like cough, hiccups, and throat or gum irritation. If you experience any of these side effects, reduce your dosage or consult with your doctor.

Are Nicotine Lozenges Better For You Than Vaping?

Nicotine lozenges may be a safer alternative to vaping since they don’t involve inhaling potentially harmful chemicals, but neither option is risk-free. Inhaling anything other than air can damage your lungs, so nicotine lozenges are generally considered safer than vaping with nicotine.

ARRØ 2 mg nicotine lozenges are formulated with low doses of nicotine polacrilex, which is more stable than pure nicotine and delivers nicotine in lower doses and at slower rates. There’s less risk of abusing nicotine polacrilex compared to the nicotine found in cigarette tobacco and vape juices.

Why Can’t You Eat and Drink With NIcotine Lozenges?

Foods and beverages — particularly those that are acidic — can make a lozenge less effective. Most experts recommend avoiding eating or drinking about 15 minutes before and after consuming a nicotine lozenge.

Are Nicotine Lozenges Stronger Than Nicotine Gum?

When you chew nicotine gum, some of the nicotine stays in the gum that you end up spitting out. But with nicotine mints, since they dissolve in your mouth, you get the full dose of nicotine.
