ARRØ
When it comes to nicotine-free vapes, ARRØ takes the concept one step further. Not only will you not find nicotine in an ARRØ, you won't find anything at all besides all-natural organic flavoring, making it a true nicotine-free vaping experience.
Known as the "Plant-Powered Puffs," ARRØ doesn't complicate things by adding supplements, CBD, THC, or any other inclusions. Instead, they focus on creating great flavors and long-lasting aromatherapy devices that deliver a satisfying "throat-hit" without any of the bad stuff some vapes can contain.
ARRØ nicotine-free disposables come in two sizes — Regular and Max — which deliver around 2,000 or 5,000 inhales respectively. That makes them one of the longer-lasting vapes around, and a great value for your money. They're also available in several popular flavors, like Peach Berry, Watermelon Aloe Grape, Hawaiian Ice, Gummy Drop and more.
HELO
Called "Zeus's Oxygen," HELO is a line of nicotine-free disposable vapes that was conceived as a convenient way to give you a non-nicotine energy boost, and that's exactly what you get.
Infused with caffeine, HELO nicotine-free vapes feature some of the highest-rated flavors in the nicotine-free vape space, like Arctic Mint, Red Apple Peach, Baja Berry, Caramel Coffee and many more.
HELO’s zero nicotine disposable vapes come in two sizes — the "regular" size, called Air, which should last for around 400 inhales; and the larger size, called Plus, which should last twice as long, or for around 800 inhales.
MELO
Made by the same folks behind HELO, MELO is the flip side of that idea, replacing the energy boosting caffeine of HELO with calming melatonin. So if you need help sleeping or just something to "take the edge off" (helpful if, for example, you're trying to quit nicotine vapes or tobacco), MELO might be right up your alley.
It bears mentioning that neither HELO nor MELO contain harmful chemicals or additives like vitamin E acetate or diacetyl, both of which have been identified as posing serious health risks.
Also like HELO, MELO’s nicotine-free vapes are available in a wide variety of unique flavors, including Banana, Gummy Bear, Cotton Candy, Midnight Mint and many more. MELO comes in the same sizes as HELO — Air, good for around 400 puffs, and Plus, good for around 800 puffs.
Inhale Health
Inhale Health calls its nicotine-free vaping device "The Anti-Cigarette," which tells you all you need to know about where this company is coming from.
Designed to help smokers kick the tobacco habit, Inhale Health's solution consists of a rechargeable vaporizer and nicotine-free vape juice pods (called Life Pods), which contain 2 ml of e-liquid each.
Popular with ex-smokers and soon-to-be-ex-smokers, the Inhale Health website features more than 7,000 reviews, the vast majority of which are positive. The pods are available in five flavors — Innocent Mint, Never Going Bacco, An Apple a Day, Mango Forward and Peach of Mind.

VitaBar
Featured in C-Net, Inc., Cosmopolitan and several other major publications, VitaBar calls its collection of nicotine-free vapes, "Vitamin-Infused Aromatherapy On-the-Go."
You can choose from six plant-based blends, each of which targets a different functional effect in one of two broad categories — Energize and Relaxation.
In the Energize category, VitaBar offers three blends — Energy, in a citrus flavor with caffeine; Boost, with Vitamin B12 in a Berry Mint Flavor; and Vital, with Vitamin C in a minty lime flavor.
The Relaxation lineup includes Chill, a lavender-flavored infusion with chamomile; Soothe, which is melatonin-flavored with peppermint; and Restore, a lychee-flavored collagen blend. Each VitaBar should last for around 1,000 puffs.
Cloudy
Cloudy offers a lot more than just vapes (which they call diffusers). They also market and sell their own brand of gummies, sprays and creams purported to produce a variety of emotional or physical states — calm, energy, sleep, etc.
Cloudy offers four vape options. Melatonin uses a blend of melatonin, lavender and chamomile that's intended to be used at bedtime. Focus is a "flow-inspiring blend" of Vitamin B12, bacopa, ginseng, L-theanine and ginkgo biloba in a mint flavor. Calm features a blend of ashwagandha, lavender and jasmine that Cloudy says will help you "find a sense of zen throughout the day." And, finally, Caffeine, containing caffeine, mango and vitamin B-12 to give you an energy boost. Cloudy estimates that each device should last for around 600 puffs.
As a final note, with more than 20,000 reviews and over 1 million units sold, Cloudy is certainly one of the more popular choices for non-nicotine vapes.
Monq Aromatherapy
Helping you "unlock your ultimate self" is Monq's lofty goal. And the tools they're hoping to use to do that? Their extensive line of diffusers and vapes.
Monq groups their vapes into categories called "Intentions," which is just their way of referring to the physical and/or mental effect you're hoping to achieve. The Intentions you can chase are Zen, Ocean, Focus, Sleepy, Happy, Sexy, Peace, Relieve and Forest. Within those categories, you have a few different product options — a disposable vape pen with the main ingredients, a disposable vape pen with the main ingredients plus CBD, and then a pod with the main ingredients only, and one with CBD added.
Monq's ingredient lists are quite long, which would normally be a red flag for something like a loaf of bread, but here the ingredients are natural. There's just a lot of them.
Zen's formulation, for example, includes frankincense, orange and ylang-ylang, along with a blend of black pepper, clary sage, dill seed, lemon, narrow leaf eucalyptus, rosemary, sage, spearmint, tea tree and USP glycerin. Ocean contains eucalyptus, lime, tangerine bergamot, cypress leaf, douglas fir, frankincense frereana, geranium, himalayan cedarwood, juniper leaf, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, litsea, manuka, neroli, peppermint, scotch pine, ylang-ylang and organic USP glycerin. We'll give you just the highlights with the other options.
Focus is a blend of coffee, ginger and rosemary. Sleepy is bergamot, chamomile and lavender. Happy is fennel, thyme and vanilla. Peace is frankincense, rosemary and yellow mandarin. Sexy is cinnamon leaf, jasmine and patchouli. Relieve is chamomile, copaiba and ginger. And finally, Forest is fir, frankincense and pinyon pine.
The CBD versions include steam-distilled CBD from American-grown hemp and contain no THC.
HealthVape
HealthVape has long been one of the leaders when it comes to high-quality nicotine-free vapes, and was actually conceived as an alternative to standard nicotine vapes with a stated intention of helping "people kick harmful nicotine habits with a healthier alternative."
HealthVape's offerings are available as either disposable pens or vape juice pods, and come in six different formulations and 12 flavors. Energy contains caffeine and Vitamin B12; Boost is a combination of B vitamins; Soothe features melatonin as the main ingredient; Chill highlights chamomile; Vital is a combination of vitamins C, A and D; and Restore combines collagen with antioxidants and amino acids.
HealthVape comes in pretty standard flavors, like Strawberry, Citrus and Mango, as well as some unique combinations, like Berry Mint, Minty Lime, and Peppermint/Jasmine. You should get about 450 puffs from each pen, and about 200 from each pod.
Ripple+
Ripple+ is another vape company that's been making news in the past couple of years for their wide selection of popular nicotine-free vapes, having been featured in major publications like Vogue and Conde Nast Traveler.
Ripple calls their flavor/supplement combinations "natural botanical blends," and calls their device an "aromatherapy diffuser," but for our purposes we'll just call them flavored vapes.
Ripple includes additional functional ingredients in their vapes beyond flavoring — like valerian and jujube seed in their Dream blend, and matcha and green tea in their Boost blend. Flavors vary based on the blend you choose, and include choices like Watermelon, Peppermint, Lavender, Mango, Jasmine and more.
Finally, as we've pointed out in our articles on Healthiest Vape Pen and Best Vape to Quit Smoking, Ripple runs a program where you can return your used devices by either dropping them off at a participating retailer, or sending them back to the company to have them recycled. When you do that, Ripple gives you 10% off your next order.
Puff
At least some of Puff's offerings fall into the "flavored air" category of non-nicotine vapes, while one related product contains a little bit extra (more on this below). But for a stripped down vaping option with no nicotine — no anything, in fact, besides flavor — Puff offers their Puff Bar for people seeking a nicotine-free vaping experience.
Puff nicotine-free vapes are available in two sizes — Puff Plus Zero and Puff Ultra Zero. The Plus size should deliver around 1,000 puffs, with Ultra clocking in at around 8,000. Flavors include Banana Ice, Aloe Mango Berry, Straw Watermelon, Sour Apple, Blueberry Ice and more.
Puff also offers a second distinct line called Puff Delta, which contains THC. There are two different versions — Prism, which contains Delta 8, Delta 9 and Delta 10 THC; and Shadow, containing THCA, THCM and THCP.
As this article isn't a deep dive into the various forms of THC and their effects, we'll point you to the Puff Delta website for answers to those kinds of questions.
In terms of taste, Puff Delta comes in flavors like Lunar Lush, Cosmic Grape, Citrus Clouds, Blueberry Dream, Atomic Apple and more.

Melody
Melody doesn't want to just help you break a nicotine addiction. They want you to stop using Melody, too.
"Quit Nicotine, Quit Melody" is the slogan on the front page of their website, along with the explanation — "We are committed to helping you break free from nicotine addiction and, eventually, vaping itself. Our 0% nicotine diffusers are a stepping stone towards your healthier, vape-free life. Our success is measured by your freedom." So a noble gesture there.
In terms of the vapes themselves, Melody boasts a number of awards, including Best Nicotine-Free Vapes 2023 by VersedVaper, Best Nicotine Free Vape 2023 by VapingVibe, and Best Disposable 2023 by My Vape Review.
Their flagship product — The Melody Max Pro — is a rechargeable that should last for around 5,000 inhales. Flavors include Tropical Mango, Grape Ice, Peach Ice, Raspberry Lemonade and more.
Cyclone
Cyclone offers a number of different nicotine-free vaping devices, which can be broken down into two categories — a nicotine-free disposable vape and pod-based reusables with nicotine-free vape juice.
On the pod-based reusable side, you have two nicotine-free choices — the Surge Pod System or the Thunder Pod System. The main difference between the two is design, which can also impact functionality. The Surge is a bit larger and "bulkier" than the Thunder, which makes it look less like a traditional vape pen. The Thunder is slightly smaller, thinner and more compact, though still larger than an old-fashioned e-cigarette.
When it comes to flavors, Surge offers more than a dozen pod flavors, including Mint, Tobacco, Fruit Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, Sweet Peach and more. Thunder includes some of the same flavors, while also adding options like Menthol, Watermelon, Vanilla and Lemonade, among others.
Cyclone's Gust Super is a rechargeable disposable that should last for around 5,000 puffs before the e-juice is finished. It comes in flavors like Fruit Punch, Mango and Guava. The Gust Disposable is a more typical disposable "one and done" vape pen. It's available in five flavors — Vanilla, Banana, Guava, Coffee and Cucumber.
Nicotine-Free Vapes FAQ
Can a vape really be healthy? Particularly if it's nicotine-free?
While the jury is still out on whether or not you can actually call a vape 100% "healthy," it's certainly safe to say that vapes, and especially vapes that don't contain nicotine, are preferable over tobacco. However, you do have to ensure they're coming from a reputable source, and that they don't contain any of the once-common ingredients that are known to cause harm — namely vitamin E acetate and diacetyl. Steer way clear of anything that includes those two ingredients.
Do non-nicotine vapes still have side effects?
That depends. Even though a vape may not contain nicotine, if you're using a vape that contains, say, THC (like Puff Delta, mentioned above), that's probably going to have some side effects. Beyond that, however, even the "mundane" ingredients that are contained in many of the vapes we've mentioned in this article can "alter your mood."
For example, caffeine, as everyone knows, is a stimulant. So if downing a coffee or energy drink makes you a jittery mess, a caffeinated vape is likely to as well. The same holds true for vapes that contain ingredients like melatonin, valerian or chamomile, which might make you drowsy.
Bottom line — assume the ingredients in the vape are the same as if you consumed them in another form. If they affect you there, they'll affect you here.
What do non-nicotine vapes taste like?
Every manufacturer will flavor their vapes and nicotine-free vape juice differently. So there's really no one answer to that question. Many will feature single flavors — strawberry or mango, for example — while others would try to create unique flavor combinations.
You'll have to use your best judgment when picking a flavor you think you'll like. Love strawberry? Try that. Hate mango? Leave it and try another. With so many flavors available from so many different manufacturers, you're almost guaranteed to find one or two you like.
Giving Up … or Staying Away From … Nicotine Has Never Been Easier
As anyone who's ever been hooked on nicotine will tell you, quitting isn't easy. No matter what aids you have at your disposal. But it's also never been easier. With nicotine replacement options like gums, lozenges and patches to help slowly wean you off your chemical addiction, and nicotine-free vapes to help with the oral fixation, you have more tools than ever to help you get healthier.
Give some of the selections we've mentioned here a try. And combine them with nicotine replacement options if that's something you think you need. Good luck!
